5 Things I Reflect in my Journaling.
We all have problems in our life and internal battles with body , mind and soul. The best way to navigate the problems in our life is to do Journaling, because when written half the problems are solved. I always choose traditional way of journaling the pen and paper mode and sometimes the digital mode.
Here are my 5 Things I Reflect in my Journaling Process
1 : Gratitude - One Thing I am Grateful for this Day
Always we have the feel of not being content , to be content seems to be a difficult feel to accomplish in the overwhelming world . Gratitude is the key to be content. Start the journaling with one thing you are grateful for, this gives you the feel of content.
2 : Small Wins — What and How
Do you believe in internal motivation or external motivation ? Internal Motivation is the best driving factor to make you move forward and writing your “Small Wins” each day with what you won and how did you do that ,act as your internal motivation to make you progress each day .
3 : Mistakes and Lessons Learnt -Why Did I Do This and What Did I Learn From This .
Reflecting is the key to carve your inner self and one of the best ways of reflecting are realization of mistake and learning the lessons from the mistakes. Write the mistakes with “Why” did you do the mistake — Key Factor like about mindset while making that mistake and “What” did you learn from that mistake.
4 : Emotions Experienced by Something or Someone — Trigger Points.
The regulation of emotion is an art and it can be achieved by first acknowledging the emotion felt rather than distracting and second most important step is to understand the roots of emotion which is exhibited by triggering points. Write the emotion felt first and then the incident or about the person clearly and more elaborately , only when elaborated , depth can be understood which helps in identifying the roots of the emotion.
5 : Moments — Little Things or Moments to cherish
Write the most memorable moment happened , it can be little or big , but write the memorable one by recollecting the happenings of entire day . Sometimes we don’t cherish small moments , but those small moments each day adds up to as big memories one day. Cherish the moments not based on the size but based on the emotion it gave.
Spend Time with Yourself , Know Yourself more, if one can’t make oneself the Best Company , then no one else can be .
